A Day in the Life at Fleurtations day 12

  • Horray, it's Sunday, we don't open until 10.00.
  • Up for 8.00, work on finances, check Google for web position, breakfast.
  • Open shop at 9.45.
  • Put the plants out on the front very chilly but pleasant.
  • Check on the emails, more junk from Germany and a couple of orders (no Caribbean cruise for me at the moment then).
  • Make up some planted baskets for the front bench and more mixed flower bunches, shop looks fantastic.
  • Spend most of the day making up flower bouquets and in the quieter moments it's yet more optimising, this time the Scented Candles come under scrutiny www.fleurtations.uk.com/scented_candles_2.asp there's over 40 fragrances all hand made from 100% natural wax with a 60 hour burn time.
  • It's time to close.
  • The Boys pack away while I finish off.
  • Dinner time at 17.30 and it's absolutely delicious.
  • Can't face anymore work today so slump infront of the TV and watch the end of Independance Day.
  • 19.30 and off to the pub again (must cut down the visits are becoming far to regular).
  • On the way to the pub Mick's shoelace completely falls to pieces, (lord knows how old they are) we end up using a piece of cordyline to lace his shoe back up, very strong stuff cordyline.
  • Leave the pub at 23.15 after putting the world completely to rights and hale a taxi for the short trip home, it was a lovely night.
  • Time for bed.
