A Day in the Life at Fleurtations day 7

  • Don't you just hate alarm clocks? 7.15 alarm goes off
  • Shower, ready and into the shop to check on emails
  • Wow, lots of orders, one from India.
  • Into the van. This mornings CD "Harps and Angels" by Randy Newman it's my first listen, hope it's as good as the earlier albums
  • Arrive at the flower market, need to pick up some small flowering plants for a basket order, perfect the african Violets and Kalanchoes have just come in
  • Back to the shop, can't put everything out because it's really windy, anchor the Billboard down with four bags of compost!
  • Breakfast and on rechecking the emails I discover that the inland revenue have finally paid up, this has just become a really good day
  • No maintenances today it's a potting up day
  • After making a selection of winter flowering baskets and tubs it's time to return to the laptop and more optimising
  • The Christmas stock is coming in thick and fast, so today it's the Christmas cards boxed sets www.fleurtations.uk.com/christmas_cards_1.asp It's a great selection I'm really pleased with them they start at only £1.49!
  • It's an early tea and I'm being told that i've done enough for today.
  • Horray, we sit down to watch a film (just to prove that I'm not a workaholic)
  • Into bed for 23.50
